Matt Stambaugh was on hand and itching to get back to racing! He and dad Rick are fieldinig a blown Chevy rear engine digger on the DC Outlaws circuit, but they are ready to come back to nostalgia racing with a nitro burning flopper next year.

Rick Stambaugh and Jungle Pam Hardy enjoy bench racing in the pits. Rick has had a few medical issues, but is rapidly on the mend and has a complete nitro funny car ready for action in 2010. Rick and son Matt have the New Generation Racing shop busy with customer cars, their own rear engine alky dragster, and a boatload of sprint cars. Can't keep a good man down!
